Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was arrested for not showing my ID. I was not being detained and i was not about to or commiting a crime . I was walking and the officer asked for my ID , he said if i dont show it i will go to jail . I asked if i was being detain he said no . Then proceeded to arrest me and bring me to the substation. The substation made me take pictures of all my tattoos and took my finger prints without consent for a misdemeanor that didnt occur."

    It appears that you were detained without probable cause. They seemed to have violated your rights, privacy, and have smeared your reputation. that said, $250,000 seems to be a fair number if they cannot demonstrate legitimate and calculated cause for their actions.
