Claimant says:
"I purchased a 2005 Chevy Cobalt from 786 Auto Sales, paid $4000.00 cash on 5/21/2011 and approximately two weeks after this purchase, the car shut down and has never run again. I contacted Jonny (the owner) and told him of my problems & he immediately started raising his voice to me faulting me for the problems. I informed him that I went straight to have the car diagnoses and learned of ALL the problems this car was experiencing and I also had the oil changed. I told him that this car was a LEMON and he told me to prove it. After contacting the Atty.Gen. & the BBB, I learned that Al;abama does not have a Lemon Law and being from Michigan, I thought that was a God given right, but not here in Alabama. I feel messed over and totally screwed. This man took my money, knowing very well that this car was totalled at one time and should've never been put back on the road. I have the General Manager of the service department totally backing me up. wishing he was an attorney, just so he could prosecute this business for unfair practices. according to Fox 6 on your side, I am not the only customer that this company has fraudently taken monies from."

  • Hello. I just read your complaint and I was wondering if you reached any resolution with Auto Sales786. You said that you had some documentation that supports your claim... I think you should make that information public so everybody knows the real deal. Good luck with this.
