Claimant says:
"The security of Astoria World Manor needs to be improved. I had my wedding ceremony and reception here. The service was good. The food and banquet hall were all good. My purse and a gift was given to a Maitre D who stated it would be place in a secure area. At the end of the evening when I asked the Maitre D whom these items were given to for them she could not located them. I was told to give it some time and it would be turned into lost and found. After waiting about an hour, my property still had not been located. Their Maitre D offered little to no help in the recovery process of my belongings. They seemed unconcerned that a theft had happened in their establishment. They didnt offer to contact police. They appeared annoyed at the request to search the room again. Even after being informed that a police report would be generated."
