Claimant says:
"Dentist request was to pull all remaining teeth bottom row of month, to provide a replacement dental plate for the top row and make initial for bottom row (1/29/13)was start date. He provided subpar by leaving a portion of broken of tooth under sutures for least two months of extreme pain while getting adjustments to bottom plate. I smelled the infection & requested help. He pulled it and sutured with no apology. My last visit (5/13) dentist indicated it yet another adjustment not a reline to bottom. I was to return 2-3 weeks later to get a the reline. When my husband & I left, I told his office manager I didn't owe the $284 yet and to ask the dentist. Instead she called me later and continued to send bills. I didn't know the bill was in collections until Jan 2014and made an appointment to show my teeth w/o reline. The office mgr. said Id have to pay, then called me back to say the dentist wont see me. They have been rude and condescending more than once during this process. I dont think he knows what he did!Between my dental insurance and out-of-pocket, they've received over $2500. I have a top plate that falls if I open my mouth too wide and a bottom plate that sits in my drawer because it wont stay in my mouth under most circumstances. The food gets under the bottom dental plate within a few chews with softer food working that I need. I have a history of 3 bowel obstructions and a large hernia. I take meds so unchewed foods can be dangerous for me! I want reversal of the $284 charge for unperformed service, $ 2500 to replace plates, and $2000 pain and suffering for public embarrassment(eating or speaking) , rude and condescending staff in person and by phone, and a year of concerns about bowel obstructions, and reluctance to ensure the best service even after you've gotten the cash and insurance for professional service."
