Claimant says:
"Verizon installed a telephone line without our notification or approval in 2004, we discovered this through a repair man that advised us we had a line to no where. the average phone charges per year are approximately $300.00 per year for ten years we have overpaid at least $3,000.00. In discussions today with their Retention department I was advised I would only receive a credit from August of this year to date. It is egregious that we have been charged for their mistake and they are not willing to refund payments made for service that was not provided. We are requesting a refund of $3,000.00. This bill is for Christ Baptist Church 12 Windsor Court Coram, NY 11727."

  • Verizon is indicating they can charge us for services not provided by them and if we catch them that's just to bad. As a non-profit entity that has been utilizing their services for over 35 years we are greatly disappointed in their outrageous position. We are going to have to hire an Attorney to fight this wrongful activity by Verizon.
