Claimant's opinion: Instead of returning my phone calls, Home Wishes sent me an email referring me to the manufacturer for remedy. Since I did not pay the mfr. for the item, the mfr. said I needed to contact Home Wishes for a refund. I told Home Wishes that this was the case but they insisted I contact the manufacturer. I am getting the run around.
Claimant's opinion: Cannot be used for the purposed for which it was advertised. The product simply does not hold up under those conditions.
Claimant's opinion: I have called Home Wishes by phone but they have failed to return my phone calls, sending only an email referring me to the mfr.
Claimant's opinion: When a company refuses to return your phone calls and then refers you to a manufacturer instead of taking care of the issue themselves, that tells me a lot about the poor integrity of the people that run the company.
Claimant's opinion: The item I purchased was advertised as a "Weatherproof Outside Backyard Shed" suggesting that you could use this in your backyard as weatherproof storage. The item is not weatherproof as rain entered through the small holes in the seams of the flimsy material used to the construct the shed and ultimately of course through the holes the developed in the roof of the structure. Furthermore, I do not consider this a "shed." It is more like a tent that should be used more for a few days of camping, rather than as a permanent or semi-permanent place of storage in ones back yard. In my opinion, this is false advertising.
"I would certainly not consider this an item for backyard storage. It is a temporary tent at best. Additionally, if you intend to use it on a camping trip, you had better throw a tarp over the top because the material used to make the roof is NOT waterproof in the rain. Furthermore, I would never do business with a company that refuses to return my phone calls."
