Claimant says:
"BLC Body Boutique fraudulently misrepresented their laser hair removal services as "permanent hair removal." This is inconsistent with the FDA's information regarding the service. I paid in full and completed all of my treatments, but none of the hair was removed and I'm now left with permanent scarring due to improper use of equipment and the incorrect equipment being used (according to multiple medical doctors). The company has refused to release my medical records, which they're legally required to maintain and provide upon request. I signed no waivers or release forms. The company needs to provide my medical records and a refund in full in the amount of $5,160.67"

  • There are a lot of questions here.

    1) Do you know what type of laser was used, whether the person applying it was licensed, and how much experience they had? Why did the doctor say it was the wrong equipment? Have you contacted the equipment maker?

    2) How many treatments did you have? 

    3) Literally no hair was removed? As I understand it, laser treatments usually remove 80 - 90 percent of hair permanently and mostly leave behind the fine light colored hair.

    4) You mention that you didn't sign a release, but was there any kind of contract? That would be usual.
