Claimant says: "I am a former employee, that was wrongfully terminated 10/13/18, due to retaliation, because of complaints filed and questions about health related issues and other matters,, and
I had a bad experience at the 2lC Museum Hotels-Kansas Ciry when they have a no-smoking
policy with-in the facilities and the hotel guest rooms. In August 2018, a group of musicians,
were allowed to smoke marijuana continuously, and daily in the rooms for approx. l-week.
The strong scent of the smell was immediately present, upon the entrance and throughout all
areas of the whole hotel, of every floor, during this whole time, despite the complaints and
concerns of others. At the end of the week, there were electrical fans seen in the aisles of every
other floor, which did not resolve the problem.
As a result of this, I have started back to smoking cigarettes.
Your establishment had a duty to ask the guest to leave or refrain from such behavior and did not. You are therefore, liable as I have suffered damages, for which the breach was the proximate cause and I am seeking remedies: I am expecting this matter to be resolved in 10-days and if not, then I will seek other legal actions.
