I thought I was working for American Standard, the billion dollar company headqaurtered in NJ for two months, since they have that on all their letter head, our shirts, and answer the phone that way. If I had known they were some small company I would never have let them owe all that money to me, and would have demanded money up front. American Standard seems to let Safety Tubs LLC do what they want, even when it is ethically wrong.  The Safety Tub LLC name is always in small print. American Standard owns Safety Tubs LLC but doesn't back them up, and is not legally responsible for anything they do. They found every excuse not to pay me work that I did, saying that the invoice format is wrong, or they are waiting on a toilet seat backordered for 4 weeks, or customer thought it was too much caulk, or wants a different style of trim then was used.  Safety Tubs didn't say they wanted it done a certain way, and the first tub was done with their trainer, who dictated how to do it, and then the customer didn't like the trim, so they wound up not paying me and having someone else redo small portions of the installation. There were 7 installs total. They may tell you they had to completely reinstall the tub, and not pay you after that without offering any proof as they did to me 8 months later. They tell you it only takes 2 days to install the tubs, when it will usually take a lot longer. For example, customer thinks there is too much caulk, they will pay another installer to redo electrical and everything at your expense, and say they have a bill from this guy. In the end, they ended up owing me $14,,000 as the subcontractor, which they still have not paid after its been almost a year. They had me work two months driving hours away to do their installs and did not pay me for most of what I did. They asked me to sign a 10 page non-compete agreement, penalty agreement, and hold the installer solely responsible for any problems. Don't sign what they offer you, I didn't. Any problems such as a customer seeing the same tub in home depot for 1/4 the price, management will say its not the same tub or a similar model. You have to do unlimited $100-150 service calls to PLACES HOURS AWAY that could take all day, on installs you didn't do in some cases. Almost every bathroom you work on, the door frame will not be wide enough for the tub, and you will spend hours disassembling the door frames to get the tub inside, and reassembling. If anything breaks or is slightly off while removing or reinstalling the trim, the company may pay someone else $750 to replace the whole door with a pre hung interior hollow core door, and trim, as they did me, deducting $750 from my pay. This was without broken trim, and nothing wrong with the door.  If anything breaks during installation, you will be responsible for the lack of maintenance of the homeowner, since it leaked when touched it during the install, at no additional compensation most of the time, Most of the walls be may be un-square, and un-plumb, and you will be responsible for fixing that for free if it comes up according to them. One house I ended up almost having to re-pipe all the waterlines around the bathroom at no additional compensation, otherwise customers complaint will be on me for being the last to work on it. The management, Mark Phillips, the regional install manager is the most unscrupulous person I have ever met. He even tried to make up fraudulent invoices for charges they had, where customer said they didn't have that done, and charge the installer (me)for this. The only way they get away not paying installers is because they aren't registered to do business in NYS, don't have any offices in the state to which makes it harder to sue them here. Unless they paid in advance, which probably won't happen I wouldn't suggest working for them. They told me to wait long enough, not to file liens against the customers, while they calculate your paperwork so that they get paid, and then they didn't pay me. Don't buy their tubs, get the same one at Home Depot for $3500, or choose a different Brand. And if you are thinking about selling or installing their tubs, know that they will probably do the same thing to you, and not pay you for your work.  They appear to make a a good amount of money by not paying their installers and offering to settle for pennies on the dollar.*” ...Show less »

I left your apartment a few times in tears from the way you spoke to me, and I have had enough! Yes, you're right, it is about me - and I'm not going to allow anyone to falsify my intentions - NOT EVEN YOU. I'M SO VERY ANNOYED at you. I posted photos of my trip to Florida (on my Facebook page) that you liked and commented on. You said ...remember this time when you get mad at me because I helped you with this trip. Well Sharon, SHAME ON YOU!!! You fired me, then expected me to be on the ops call, the day after a minor surgery, while I was in pain from head to toe. Unbelievable. I do love you Sharon very much, but working for you is beyond CHALLENGING to say the least. The constant negotiating/renegotiating of my pay from the empty phrase sweat equity (don't promise what you can't deliver), sound familiar? Then the audacity to slash my income by nearly 40% while you are running out the door for three weeks in Paris with your endless bombardment of emails and Skype messages, that I did read, not skim btw. Because I took a lesser position, I was told that the accumulated PTO would not be paid at the 21$ hr rate but at the 14$ an hour rate. I agreed to this. I started supervised practice with the RN in charge in my clinic in Enid. In July, I was 2 days late turning in a paper to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and my license was suspended. I quickly notified the supervisor of my clinic and the supervisor of all the nurses (D. Gibson). D. Gibson was in Alaska and she postponed my yearly evaluation until she returned. I agreed to this. I was already approved vacation time for the 29 July until 7 august. I was also approved to various weekends for the rest of the year. My license was suspended on the 23 of July. After working the whole week in the clinic and at 5 pm, I was told that I was being let go because of my license situation. D. Gibson also stated that we stuck our neck out for you and you did not do what you were supposed to do. My license had nothing to do with the job that I had, which was to room in the patients. If there was a concern I find it strange that I was allowed to work until the Friday at 5 pm. D. Gibson was in the clinic twice that week. I also did what my supervisor C. Bynum was telling me to do in regards to rooming in the patient's and waiting to room them. The review that Nurse C. Bynum was going to give me what exemplary, as a matter of fact, she turned in a report to the Board of nursing that was Excellent! I would like the vacation time that I accumulated. It is 89.32 hrs, at 14$ an hour. I earned those hours, and I was strung along until they found someone else to do my job at a lesser rate of 9$ an hour.*” ...Show less »
