Claimant says: "I tried to get my Dish service disconnected it took me approximately four to five days they kept putting me on hold hanging up arguing with me treated me like a piece of crap I would like to file a complaint on this now they're sending me a bill for $300 said I was in breach of contract because I only had service with them 10 months the day before they told me I had service with them 22 years I was on the phone with them approximately 8 hours maybe more”

I read in my local paper, Ventura Star, that new customers would get a Gift card for $100.00. When I called the rep. about this, she said I wasn't entitled and hung up on me. I am 84 years old, not well and in addition I don't like Dish.”

We recently received a upgrade on our receiver., and I signed a contract for 2 years. 3 weeks later, they cancelled the Japanese station, which was one of the main reasons we signed up with them in the first place. My position is that by cancelling the station, they broke our contract, and I should not owe them anything. I cancelled our service on Apr 7, 2018. He installed a different DVR and a thing he called a 'Joey' and a new satellite dish. The next day, I got a call from DISH offering me a 'free' upgrade. I called them and told them about the call and the girl said she would take care of it. I thought she would take the $1.00 charge off. When I got my bill it close to $100.00 more than my usual bill.
