Maurice M. says: Went to SpaceCoast to purchase a vehicle in 2014 and found a Monte Carlo. Gave them $500 to hold vehicle figuring I would have rest of down payment the next day. After getting my paycheck I returned the next day, but couldn't get the Monte Carlo cause I didn't have enough for the rest of down payment and insurance. Asked for my $500 back so I could continue my car shopping elsewhere. They took my $500 saying they couldn't just hold the car without getting some kind of monetary gain cause they took it off the lot and placed it on hold for me. THAT WAS A LIE......earlier that morning I had to work @ 4am and I caught a ride and as I passed by there the car was still in the same spot, so they never moved it off the lot til it got closer to the time I was to return. I know this cause the guy who details the cars had it in the back cleaning it when I got there that evening.......so in my eyes they are CROOKS and very unprofessional. One of the guys who work there said he would give me half of my down payment back after someone purchased the vehicle.......so, how can you offer to give me half my money back for a vehicle I only looked @? Would like to have my $500 back
