Travelocity advertised the Bes Western Plus Newport Beach Inn as a ocean view or partial ocean view and rated it as a high star hotel. Claimant says: "I had planed a trip in November bought ticket, bought travel insurance. Had family problem emergency had to cancel trip. refunded money for hotel but not air fare. said flight was no refundable. but give credit of $1064.00 So i went to use credit now there is a $300 dollar fee to book flight on top of voucher. so found flight for $950.00 tried to book flight Talked to 3 different people at travelocity and the price went up every time till know flight is $3000.00 before voucher. so my cost would be $2300.00 for flight” ...Show more »

Claimant says: "We booked this package on Travelocity in June 2010 for travel in October 2010 for a total cost of $2761.35. Travelocity cancelled the trip at the end of August, 2010, due to the bankruptcy filing of Mexicana Airlines, and promised a refund. They processed the hotel refund ($1320.07) fairly quickly but I am still waiting for the airfare refund.
