Janifa K. says: well for one i bought my house in 2015 two years after the panels were install first one reason is for 1 year after the purchase of our home we receive our yearly true up bill we received 5000 dollars no solar production find out solar panel breakers were shut off also following year after that was fixed then we receive a 3200 dollar bill and then they finally send someone out to see what was wrong with the panels well apparently they removed the panels prior to our purchase of the home due to an old roof i suppose so then after that was done the panels were reinstalled and then they did not make sure the design was correct so for 2 years our panels were not properly working yet were still paying pge and we stopped paying Viviant because they still have not given us any compensation for paying then for 1 year plus any compensation for the loss of production for 2 years and yet were still paying pge 1800 or less i thought this was suppose to eleminate pge all together at least the electric portion of it i need this contract terminated and panels to be removed

Peter L. says: This group is incompetent and unorganized. They broke every contractual agreement since the first set of panels were installed in 2014. I had about 90 on my house. California heavy rains this past winter destroyed my house and family with bad installation and purposeful unresponsiveness. Water and mold damage to our house has caused over 8 months of stalling and denials with Vivint . We have had to replace the roof, insulation, two room floors, stucco, sheet rock, and OSB boards that had was soaked with water and mold. This company tries to automate everything from customer service to performance monitoring, billing, and service. Vivint hired a bunch of untrained idiots for install and it did not rain until this last winter. You will not notice damage until it get's into your house and that will be too late. When mold is involved, your home owners insurance will cap your compensation at $5,000 max. This situation has required us to hepatic and bleach everything inside our home due to mold remediation. They first said it was there fault, then said it was a utility box that leaked into the house. Until I got a lawyer, they were unresponsive. It would have been better if my house would have burned to the ground than have water and mold damage. Lived with my family in the garage for 2 months until we had the house sanitized. Doing business with Vivant has produced one of the worst periods in my life.

Christine P. says: Deceptive sales tactics. Was told we would save 31% did research over year period. Solar panels over all cost you more than regular electricity. Sales person told us panels transfer to new owner no problems. Was not told new owner had to sign. Vivint Solar needs to be investigated.

David G. says: They charged me nearly $400 after removing my solar panels and not replacing them for 5-months after I had a new roof installed, even though the system wasn't working during this time.
