Maile L. says: On 9/8/2021, I had to have an MRI. First off, the medical assistants and receptionists in the office were not friendly at all. The experience was unpleasant ad the receptionist was rude and then the assistant who came out to get me was also rude and unprofessional (refused to pronounce my name correctly & loudly asked me personal and medical information in an open, shared room with other patients sitting close by).

Then, to follow this, I had numerous calls that I had to make with the billing office to get the claim processed. Multiple times I had to call to get the claim sent correctly to my insurance and yet the Radiology Ltd. was NOT being diligent in getting this processed. My health insurance company had to start calling on my behalf in an attempt to get this organization to submit SOMETHING correctly. Finally, on 10/25/2021 - over a month past my service - the agent in billing was able to submit a claim "again" that went through to get processed.

However, insurance was not showing that I had paid the $559.01 payment and called again on my behalf because at this point my deductible was paid AGAIN and met through another service I had done (on 10/14/2021 and was processed, and everything completed by 10/23/2021, so I know other radiology institutions are able to successfully work with my insurance and run their billing department). Therefore, the $559.01 should have been refunded, which the representative from my insurance was able to figure out with an employee, who told me I should receive a refund for this service in 5-7 business days. He then gave me a phone number to follow up on, which my insurance recommended I do. when I attempted to call this number, it was not in service! I called the generic number and spoke to another employee who advised me a refund wouldn't be processed for possibly 2 weeks because I had to wait until insurance paid.

This is so frustrating to receive conflicting information and further makes me believe that Radiology Ltd is unprofessional and simply does not care about the patients it serves. I could not speak to a supervisor, could not get a definitive answer, and am beyond frustrated at the way your organization conduct business.
