Jackie T. says: Our dog (half collie/half shetland sheepdog) was trained at Landheim approximately four years ago & we do board her at Landheim. She was trained in the group setting. I really appreciate the way they train the owner to work with their dog. One lesson then work with the dog yourself at home for a week & this continues throughout the training. We have a small hobby business at our home so people are always coming & going. Every single time people encounter Lacey off leash they are amazed by her off leash behavior & I tell them she went to "School" at Landheim. Three neighbors have also taken their dogs through the Landheim group training after encountering Lacey & they have all had wonderful results. YOU must work with your dog. This is not something where you take the dog once a week & do nothing with the dog between classes. We are retired so she gets constant reinforcement all day every day. We board her there because we know she is safe there & well cared for. Sadly we have seen dogs get out & get hit by cars on three occasions when someone was watching them for free. We won't take that chance.
