Randolph B. says: They took a retainer to assist avoiding eviction, never contacted client of any attempt made on client's behalf, eviction happened 8 days later, The client earns $675.00 per month, requested a refund, not because they were evicted, but because nobody can show that any work was done on their behalf at all. KEL said they only needed to show work if they exceeded the cost of the retainer; in other words they kept $950.00 for nothing more than a promise to assist. Clients never even spoke to an attorney there before they were out. They just plain took the money and did nothing for it. Pretty much picked the clients pocket.
