I have worked with Drew Lyon on a number of real estate transactions and I can say with 100% confidence that he is one of the most knowledgeable, experienced, highly regarded and respected within our industry. As a colleague of his for well over a decade, I am certain this claim lacks both professional merit and also legal proof and supporting documentation.
Our industry is one of the most highly regulated and contractual, as a licensed CA Real Estate Broker you are simply unable to conduct such transactions without the legal execution of a binding sales contract, (which requires mutual consent and execution). Further more, all transactions are regulated through escrow and held to the mutually agreed upon & legally binding sales agreement so this claim is simply false. Had Avanti Harcourts or Drew Lyon failed in their fiduciary obligations the Department/Bureau of Real Estate would have immediately interfered and held Harcourts accountable, that obviously was not the case.
It is a shame that sites such as this exist, where anyone with ill intent can create a false claim against businesses and can attempt to damage reputations or credibility without having any immediate ramifications or without the need of exercising the burden of proof.
I look forward to sharing this information directly with both Jesse Salas and Drew Lyon, as they deserve to know their professional ethic and stellar reputations are being called into question.
