Vence G. says: I have withdrawn $1,000.00 in $29.00 bills from ATM twice on different occasions. I have had to deposit over one third back into my banking account due to marked up $20.00 bills. The bills that are not acceptable are marked up, not from vandals, but from printing employees using black and red pens that that spread in the material when scored for the cut marks. They should be using an erasable ink on those bills. I will be participating in foreign travel and need clean unmarked bills that will be acceptable overseas. The Sngraving and Printing Department needs to hire some quality inspectors to inspect new currency before it is allowed into circulation.
