Julie G. says: absolutely not bought 2 used tires cost 166.00 and mount and balance one wouldnt hold air called was told bring tire in three weeks later car broke down i was nervous and scared so i asked if u could tow it and would u would scrap for me pat told me the cars too old. so as i continued to have increasing anxiety about where the car broke down only 6 miles up the rod from slate valley pat said he would call me when his driver returned. waited and hour and panic set in as i left the car in stuarts parking lot in front of air station due to front tire purchased form u that kept losing air
i was told they would go now to get car and stop by my house to get title and bill of sale i was told to sign over for cost of tow. i did this unknowing that first i am a woman with no knowledge of cars and used parts. my concern was still panic and removal of car pat told me to write bill of sale for cost of tow and sign the back of title over to them. family and friends began to tell me i should have gotten atleast something for scrap price due to the fact that they do scrap and pay for tow for scrap as well as a used part dealers. i began to sense a bad taste in my mouth as well as anger for being a woman screwed over royally there were new brakes and rotors fuel pump control module switch coils mass air flow sensor battery alternator serpentine belt transmission line evap codes and 750 just for parts filler tube catalac converter upwards of 600. dollars for scrap and total scrap weight. i called pat today and he denied saying car wasnt worth anything if that was the case why did he come get it and tow it somewhere other than his bussiness and charge me for tow. he told me to write bill of sale for cost of tow well thanks for the free tow. i asked him why didnt i atleat get 50 bucks or what the worth of scrap cause i had asked him to tow it yes i did ask him as i said as a woman with no knowledge of car scrap worth he said legally he did nothing wrong i had to agree to that statement what hurts is that he knew car was worth more and lied to me. i asked him if his conscience bothered him as he lied stole and knew his position was for monetary gain was being a car dealer. i want to tell u what i think had i been a man he wouldnt have gotten away with this. i am sending this to the paper and to all of my friends and family facebook better business bureau and anyone who mentions this bussiness that to watch out if happen to b a woman stranded and in state of panic i was taken advantage of and lied too as well. please we need more business run by woman so men and woman can have equal respect. and if we did woman could go to woman garages and i bet they would get men to go to their garages and hopefully wipe out slate valley from any future business and force them out of bussines. morally wrong and just down right cold employee he said he sleeps well at night!!!!!!!!!
