J S. says: This dealership is ran by a crook and a for sure scum bag named, Chris Oland. This is the worst experience I have even had when dealing with a dealership. In our agreement, he would pay for my car to be shipped to him and I would pay for the purchased car to be shipped to me (enclosed $1200). This guy tried to have two open, double decked transport trailers pickup my 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE trade. I should have known the warning signs then when the first transporter declined pickup because the front spoiler of the Camaro would have been ripped completely off. He showed me on his phone that Chris only put in a pickup bid for $350 and only described my car as a “2018 Camaro”. Not once stating that it was the extreme package version of the ZL1. So I never said anything to Chris other than the driver canceled. So Chris set up pickup for the next day, that ran into the night, and again, the same kind of transport vehicle - to which I then canceled the pickup promptly. I texted Chris pissed stating that I wanted to cancel the whole ordeal. But after a little reasoning and cooling off we agreed to try it again and this time the correct trailer was sent out. After the Camaro was loaded I asked the driver the cost for this pickup and he told me $800. The Camaro arrived in one day (Tuesday) and my vehicle was scheduled for a pickup that Wednesday, but because of the Thanksgiving holiday it didn’t start its journey to me until that Saturday. During that waiting period I got in touch with the transporter so that I could stay up to date during the process. I get a call from the owner of the transporter telling me that he needed $200 more dollars because my vehicle was extra wide and that in the bid put out by Chris, he didn’t disclose the performance upgrades of the vehicle and that made it difficult to load. He only listed the car as a regular model. I told the transporter I would pay the extra cost just so I can get this nightmare over with. Apparently, prior to that conversation, he tried to get Chris to pay for the extra money since he didn’t disclose the vehicle properly, Chris hung up on him. That’s when the transport owner told me that Chris only paid $800 of the $1200 that I was quoted. And Chris then had the nerve to tell the owner not to tell me the cost he paid. So when Chris called me on Thanksgiving to tell me how transporter’s are the “scum of the earth” and how difficult they can be, it helped me lead into how he, in actuality, was the same as he described. When I told Chris about how unethical it was of him to make $400 off of my trade in transport (paid half of the $800), I wanted that money refunded back, he tried to use his car salesman jargon about how the numbers all equal out and blah, blah, blah. I told him not to sell me your bull crap, I used to be a car salesman, I know the garbage talk. He started saying that I was trying to extort money from him. I told him I have proof from receipts that show what he paid to both transporters and the texts between us that showed that we will each pay our own transport. Not once did it state that I pay full price for my shipping and half of my trade in. He acted like a drama queen and said that I will have to talk to his partner because our conversation was ruining his holiday, not even concerned that I was a customer that just ran into a con of a co-owner of a dealership. And, not only when the car finally arrived and got unloaded, there was a check engine light that he swore wasn’t on the car when it left Florida. A check engine light that I had to pay $221 to get repaired so that I would pass inspection. Not to mention the four days out of my busy schedule that I had to use to address this issue when it should have been disclosed and the deal would have been called off. Make sure to use due diligence and CAUTION.
