Carol M. says: I thought my problem was getting resolved but there have been more issues. The last week of January(either the 26th or 27th) I went to gym to get the training appointments scheduled--spoke to Mike at the desk. I told him I wanted to have membership continued. I was told to come to gym on the 29th at 1:30 for a session with Matt, he was there on that date but we discussed scheduling the training and there was no workout done with him. I told him I wanted regular membership continued, he also explained to me that when one plans to cancel, New York Fitness has a paper which needs to be completed. I was told to come in on February 4th for a session, when I arrived and used my key a recording said my membership had been cancelled. I immediately told Matt and Mike was on duty at the desk, was informed by Matt it would be corrected. Session was done, when I was about to leave, Mike told me his boss Mary told him to tell me I would have to pay $39.99 for a new membership. Since I had told both Mike and Matt that I wished to have membership continued I am upset this was not done. I have sent emails to Matt and New York Fitness about this but have not gotten a reply. I am desperately trying to get this resolved without having to pay any penalties. Any assistance would be appreciated.
