Martin D. says: I bought my Venza from Modesto Toyota and they have done all the service on my vehicle. My LAST 90k service they told me my oil drain plug is bad and the oil pan needs to be replaced at a cost of 550 dollars, there was a cheaper fix of around 250 dollars. They could do nothing since it was not under warranty. By the way I had their extended warranty which only went until 80k and they would not or did not have one longer. Did I say they were the only ones to service my vehicle. I believe this was a fast and unprofessional way to shaft their customers. I asked what would they do to get me on the road since the part had to be ordered and they said they would seal the plug but it would only be good until the next oil change. I said do that and I would have to figure something out. Two weeks later I am leaking oil and leaving puddles where ever I park. Modesto called me and asked how their service was and I told them unacceptable and what the problem was. I expected to hear back with some sort of share the cost for parts and labor. A week later nothing. I am looking for a shop to take over my maintenance on my Venza and fix the oil problem.
