Cory has no business contracting anything for anyone PERIOD! He has no experience in what he claims and uses the cheapest of materials leaving the customer set up for failure with projects. The only time he has people skills is when he is selling the job to get the deposit . After that you just dont know what is gonna happen or not happen.
Then you start to see he does not know what hes doing. Then if you want to hire someone else to finish he threatens you with breach of contract. He will rip you off and destroy your home! Dont hire this guy..............

Corey and Ashton are scammers. They are incompetent, liars and thieves. They started several jobs for me in Jan.2018 and in March I left them go because they hadn't finished one jog, made a mess of a floor repair and finish, installed crown molding wrong. I could go on and on but in the end, they left me hanging for an advance of $2,000 for custom shades and crown molding. Cory is incompetent and Ashton is a liar. Both scammed me and left the house unfinished and botched. This couple is a fraud and not honest. Do not use them!

I hired KC Handyman LLC early in December 2017 using Home Advisor to do some electrical modifications to my new retail store with the work to be completed no later than the end of the year. They did start on December 27th , the agreed date, but did not complete their work that day. It was agreed that they would return on the 29th to finish. When they did not show by 2:00 pm that day I called and got their first excuse. A new date was set for January 8th, but again "no show" with another excuse that the date was supposed to be the 15th at 8:00 am. Once again a "no show" with their third excuse and would not set a time to finish the work.
At this point I fired them even though I had paid them the full amount of the contract (my mistake). Part of my payment was made by credit card, so I disputed a $420 portion of the contract for incomplete work with my credit card issuer. Unfortunately as of this writing my dispute has been rejected based on KC Handyman's response to the card issuer; my opinion is they are not being truthful in their response. I had to hire another to complete the work, and who in the process discovered that they had not grounded any of their work and had made an open splice (not in a junction box), both in violation of code. Avoid KC Handyman like a plague. They are greedy, dishonest and unprofessional.
