Betty R. says: Terrible service from the beginning. False and misleading information. No info given about early termination fees let alone a signed contract agreeing to a commitment. Spent hours during several contacts to technical support to no avail. Was unaware of data caps despite informing them of number/type of devices being used daily. During the 30 day period given to cancel data never ran out. Paid for second month and within 1 day my data was half gone. When contacted they then informed me my data was refreshed each day during the first month. Complete scam.

John W. says: Worst company I've ever dealt with. I absolutely wouldn't ever recommend these unprofessional, unresponsive, disrespectful, rude, overcharging, weakest signal to my worst enemy. They aren't worthy of the dog s*** they step in walking to there car for work in the morning.

I have spent many hours on the phone with associates of Hughes net, I get passed from one person to another and get disconnected during the calls and get no return call back. I have to call them back and start at the beginning because you can never speak to the person who you were originally speaking with. The new person claims to not be able to find the notes from my previous conversations and do here we go again. I have had multiple troubleshooting on each call and am told we are not receiving good service and then that is usually when the infamous hang up on the customer happens. I have asked multiple times to be cancelled and not be charged the early termination fee because Hughes Net is not able to provide good service where I live and they refuse. So now we are stuck paying monthly for a service that does not work. Horrible company, promising something they cannot provide and not Respecting the customer.

Michelle B. says: My problem with Hughesnet is they have horrible customer service and they took money off my card for no reason at all. Every time i would call to talk to them they would take 30 minutes to answer a question and would deny me to speak to a manager. Iv never had such horrible service with a company before. Im not stopping till i get my $276.44 back for the crap i had to deal with.

Gerald H. says: FALSE ADVERTISING at its finest. I called them out on it and the commercial changed. Remember the old man that says "now I can talk to Billy from anywhere" TOTAL BULL... right after I said that to one of there reps. That commercial disappeared... HMMMMM when is a company liable, When will they be called out, when will something be done. Read the THOUSANDS of reviews that all have the SAME complaints. It really is ridiculous...
