Anna M. says: All of the resources are completely free other than through the their college. This to me is totally normal as I don't know anywhere that would give you a degree of any level for free. The accredited courses come with official certification, free to download or you can pay a small fee to have a physical copy sent to you. All money paid towards certificates go straight back into there ministry so that they can continue to offer their resources for free. I have no reason to believe that CLI, CLA or CLC is a scam. I have seen a comment about the accrediting body not being legally legit. When you do the welcome/intro course, they tell you very specifically which colleges you can use your qualifications with as well as what level each course qualifies you to work in be it as a volunteer, in part-time ministry or full-time ministry. It is totally free to start and you ONLY PAY FOR CERTIFICATES OR COLLEGE LEVEL DEGREES. It is fully possible to prepare for volunteer work or get a recognised diploma with their free resources. I am part way through a Youth ministry course and I have to say the quality level of the teaching is fantastic. It is all bible based knowledge and the teachers are very experienced in ministry as most of them have worked with various church's and/or organisations themselves. Christian Leaders delivers a perfect blend of biblical truth and industry experience. As mentioned earlier it is totally free to join so to anyone who is unsure or has doubts, I would recommend trialling it and if you don't like it or don't agree with the teachings, by all means deactivate your account and find something that works for you. Dr. E. says: A warm welcome to you all to Christian leaders Institute (CLI), a free online ministry training institute based in Michigan USA. CLI Christian leaders Institute is a very legitimate college that offers free online ministry training at no cost. However, ut is upon request for an official transcript or award when one has to pay an administrative fee to cater for the process. I would also like at this point to make it clear that student learning progress or transcript and unofficial certificates or awards are always available 24/7 for download freely to a student. If one classify CLI as bogus I think something is not right in the mindset of such a person because he or she lives on eavesdroppings rather than the reality. All certificates, diplomas and degrees at CLI are well recognised everywhere and I am a living testimony of the same. In June 2018 I was promoted to a high post at my work upon submitting my divinity degree certificate from CLI. As if this was not enough, I then applied for a postgraduate degree to different universities in three different continents using the same certificate and was accepted without difficulties. This signifies beyond reasonable doubt how authentic and credible are CLI academic credentials. Even at my church I did not find any challenge with CLI academic awards. I do encourage many potential and aspiring students out there to come in their numbers and enrol with CLI without fear for the reward is ever sweet. Please don't be discouraged by people who talk where they have not been before. They are driven by a Satan's spirit of discouragement from which they are being nursed. Please ignore such negative comments from them by coming to CLI where you will certainly enjoy free online ministry training in the comfort of your homes and regret not at the end.

Teresa M. says: As of March 2019, you cannot access your transcripts or previously earned diplomas or certificates unless you pay a $125 enrollment fee. Most reputable colleges provide for a Grandfather's Clause that covers alumni before any changes take place. Not only that, I can access my transcripts free of charge on UNC Charlotte and Randolph Community College any time free of charge. This is a scam. Previous work earned should be available online at any time for alumni who already earned those credits. Fortunately I saved all copies of my certificates, my diploma and my transcripts to a file on my computer. I was finally able to find the file and print everything. If a former student did not save their course work, they will have to pay $125 to access their transcripts. This is a red flag to a scam. Their Accrediting agencies ACEA and IABCS are not recognized by the DEAC or the CHEA, the boards that are legal and recognized by the Federal Gov't Department of Education. Christian Leaders Institute is not listed on any accredited colleges website. So if you are paying $125, for your previous transcripts you are being robbed. It's a bogus school listing two bogus accreditations. Buyer beware. You'd be better off taking religion classes at a community college where you can apply for financial aid and scholarships than paying out of pocket for this. I hope you saved all of your prior work because it's gone now.
