Merthel R. says: I had dispute with Branch 62 and had a very difficult time settling the issue. I had fraudulent activity on my bank account for $1,000. I filed a claim within appropriate time frame. However, 62 informed me they had no proof of the claim. There was no copy and therefore there was nothing they could do. I was told that I had to settle with the other bank involved. I was shuffled from bank to bank. I knew I had filed the claim, and being told they did not have it was extremely bizarre and upsetting. 62 was willing to submit paperwork to the other bank for resolution, even though they claimed nothing may happen since it was too late and no claim had been filed. I finally found someone at the other bank who knew what she was doing. She did some research and provided me with the information that a claim had been filed within the time frame required. I then went to Peoples Claim. 62 resolved the issues quickly after the complaint was filed. Up until that time I had found 62 employees to be helpful and friendly. I had no issues with the bank. However, I will not go into that branch now to do business. I do not even like to drive by! What an unnecessary and unprofessional occurance. I have submitted this once but did not send. This may be a duplicate.
