Sandra Q. says: They take your money and when it comes down to taking care of their customers they give you the run around, and do not return your calls. They tell you they will pay for a rental and once you have one they ignore the calls and emails. highway robbery. why are they allowed to still be in business? they are just scam artists.

Mrs L. says: They are rude, very unprofessional and horrific. Do not follow up with you and did not send a claims adjustor out to inspect my vehicle after I filed a claim

Rocio J. says: BEWARE of Alliance United Insurance. They will not return calls and try to delay the claim and then deny it. You have no recourse and the State Department of Insurance is of no help also. You can not get an attorney to help unless there are injuries involved. A rigged system and the consumers suffer. Their insured sideswiped my vehicle (5 months ago) and I had a witness and still they have denied the claim. They also based their denial on an incorrect police report which was later corrected but they still denied he claim. My insurance company agrees that their insured was at fault and is trying to get them to pay; however, at this point I will not hold my breath waiting for a settlement. This company should be investigated but somehow they seem to get away with screwing the victims. I would participate in a class action suit against them in a heartbeat.

Lyndi H. says: I wouldn't recommend Alliance United to my worst enemy. I have filed complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau, along with 247 other people, as well as with the California Insurance board. They intentionally delay the claim process by not returning phone calls or emails. It took two weeks to get my car picked up from the tow yard, six weeks for Alliance to do a "investigation." Whatever that was. The investigator and the claims adjustor apparently do no communicate with each other. It was an additional week to have a replacement key made, because the original key was taken during a carjacking. One more week to transport to the auto body shop. Four more days for the estimate to be delivered to the auto body shop, which I had to do myself because the adjustor did not return the body shop's phone calls. Ridiculous. Alliance sent me a check for $4200 to cover the damages to the vehicle, which I have not cashed because the damages are obviously more than that. They didn't even inspect the undercarriage of the vehicle before sending me the settlement check. I found out today that there is a great deal of suspension damage. Who knows if the vehicle is even salaveable at this point. They have had my car for 10 weeks. I think the hope is that the insureds will just give up and accept their terrible service. I'm not giving up.
