Shirley H. says: Beware!!! Of misleading information before going to them and before buying a warranty that is useless.

In May 2023 my dentures broke while on vacation. I called Affordable Dentures in Tulsa to ask if I purchase new dentures from them and if I would be able to go to Affordable Dentures when I get home if I have any problems. They said YES!!! When I went into the office in Tulsa to get new dentures I asked again, and they said YES!!! So, I purchased the premium package and a three-year warranty.

When I got home my gums were hurting so I went to the Affordable Denture office near my home on June 7th, 2023, and the doctor said that I needed a reline and had to pay $260.

My husband called the office in Tulsa and they said all I needed was an adjustment.

At that time I decided to go to my private dentist, and yes I did need a reline. So, I started emailing the Affordable Dentures Corporate office on September 1st, 2023, and after a few phone calls and emails, I learned that each office is independently owned, and the warranty did not transfer. It was only good for the office it was issued from.

I tried to work with them to get to an office that would honor the warranty in my area. Nothing. I told them that I knew that if my dentist relined my dentures it would void the warranty, but since I was misled by the Tulsa office could they at least pay $372 for the reline? I am thankful that I was able to get new dentures, but was not expecting to pay for something that I will never be able to use.

They called me on October 6th, 2023, and told me that the Tulsa office declined to pay for my reline, and there was nothing else they could do for me.

Beware!!! Of misleading information before going to them and before buying a warranty that is useless.

Rita A. says: Went to the one at 7351 Assateaqua Drive, Jessup, MD. Only had to wait 30 mins. to be seen. Already had upper dentures, so at my first visit I never got to see the dentist. Just a bunch of employees. One that showed me the different choices I had. Then another employee took impressions. And of course one to take my money. Felt like I was on an assembly line. Now I had to wait for four weeks for my next visit.
Next visit. Wait time was 1 hour. Same thing. One employee had me try on the mock dentures. I had ordered two.
One that was $500.00 and one that was $1,500. Figuring the inexpensive one was in case the expensive one needed any repairs. At this appointment the employee wanted to see how it fit and whether the color was okay. Dentist - Sherri J. McGee came in to say hello. All of 30 seconds. Now had to come back to see how they look and feel. Wait another 4 - 5 weeks for another appointment.
Third visit. Waited 1 1/2 hours. Was furious, especially because I was told by Kelly at the front desk that she was running a "little" late. 1 1/2 hours is not a little late. When I complained I was told I was next. Great, to put me in another room and made me wait there. I was there for a total of 3 hours. After making it clear that they were super quick in taking my money and super slow in getting the dentures I paid for. Low and behold finally got the dentists' attention. Was told that she was understaffed that day. So why would you not call your patients to let them know. Oh that's right, you already have the money. Being the inexpensive plate was completed I asked for a refund on the $1,500.00 plate. Was definitely not coming back to this place. The plate I did take was badly made. After some adjustments that were made by Dr. McGee, it still did not fit properly. She decided to pass it on to (yes, you guessed it) another employee. Told the employee to let me know it has to be relined. Great job with fitting the brand new dentures. There should have been absolutely no reason to have to reline these dentures. Except for poor impressions. Again done by an employee.
You only get to work with the dentist when you are having teeth pulled for a new denture. After that you get the employees. Who obviously lack some training. Very badly run business. Long wait to get an appointment, Long wait to get in once you're there for your appointment and inferior product when you finally get your dentures. They only care in quantity not quality. DON'T USE THIS PLACE. REALLY BAD MANAGEMENT.

Melanie N. says: the staff is disrespectful by calling grownups by their first name even after being asked not to. The dentist lies about the time it will take when they do the first exam and start the procedure to put in implants, Once when they used a product in my mouth to see where the pressure was. No one was in the exam room and I started having burning in my mouth. I picked up the jar of product to see what it contained and when the assistant walked in she grabbed the product from me and acted as if I was stealing it. Each time you go in thinking you will finally get the final dentures they say they have to do another procedure that will take anywhere from 2to 6 weeks. When I finally got fed up the dentist said he would not finish the work and told me to leave. I still have sutures in my mouth. I won't go back to an Affordable dentures clinic.

Michael C. says: Scammers, They get you in there by telling you they accept you Ins. Do an x Ray of yr mouth and them casually look in yr mouth, that’s what they refer to as an examine, glancing inside yr mouth. Then the little kid who got his dental liscense in boogaloo batsman’s practicing on boiled white Safari hunters teefs tells you, you may not have enough upper bone for the implants and they have to do a “ 3 D x Ray which your insurance doesn’t cover. Then he hits you with a ball park figure of seven to ten thousand dollars. Which do you think it’ll be ? Affordable? Yeah… if you sell yr first born, yr favorite fishing pole, mortgage yr house, get a second job, sell coke and club Garp seals for extra money.

Andre P. says: I went to Affordable Dentures on 3695 Cascade Road in Georgia, did not know how many incisors were in the upper Jaw. when he made the sample fitting, I told him my concern. he wasn't sure what i was referring to. then tried to convince me many people have three and that was normal, his assistant tried to convince me of the same. when I decide to end the procedure, he was more than just rude. I agreed that they were due 25% for starting the process and the rest $1600 would be returned to me, which as of now 3 months later I haven't received and don't look like I will unless I take them to court!
