Carol C. says: I sold my home, left a full tank and paid the rent for new homeowner. The new tenant used up the propane and then decided to change companies. AC Propane sent me a bill a year and a half later saying I owed them money for picking up the tank. I told them the new owner is the one that decided to cancel, they are responsible. Six months later I receive a bill for $150. I told them that I never received anything in writing saying I would be responsible for the tank being picked up, should they change their mind. In fact, I never signed any kind of a contract and this was never explained to me that I was responsible. I do not feel that I am responsible for paying for the tank being picked up.
