Claimant says: "In June of 2011, I responded to an email ad from True North Payment Systems about partnering with them and investing in their merchant account business. About four days later, I received a call from one of their representatives who told me how lucrative this business is. I could receive commissions from every credit card transaction. First I needed to pay a small fee of $38.00, which I did. I was told someone would call me to give me more information, and someone did but I don't remember the man's name. The following week, Joseph Corey called, asking if I would invest $1000.00, finally I invested $750.00, Mr. Corey said he would handle everything for me. The investment was made on September 6,2011. Two weeks later, I tried to contact Mr. Corey, I was told he had quit and that I should contact James at James@tnbventures.net, which I did. I did not get any straight answers from James pertaining to my investment. I had to face the facts, I was scammed.*” ...Show less »
