He had to stop using it because the wireless frequency interfered with his pace maker. His heart rate increased and experienced discomfort and shortness of breathe. I contacted the company and asked if we could return it. I talked with Sharon who said that I could only return the unopened set. She told me that we could not return the opened set because he should have check on how electronic devices effect him before using them since he has a pace maker and that for health reasons they can't take it back. I informed her that there was no disclaimer on the packaging and that he has no trouble with other electronic devices, like wireless phones or remote controls. I asked her how he would know that this particular product would have affected pace makers and her response was she doesn't know. I asked her to contact the manufacturer and inform them of this concern to see if there was something they could do. She said they would not take this seriously because it's just one person's reaction. I told her that my father-in-law is not the only person in the world with a pace maker and that if the product does interfere with pace makers they should know and make appropriate adjustments to packaging (disclaimer/warning) or modify the product. Then to add insult to injury, I was informed that I can send the unopened set back minus a 15% restocking fee and pay for the return shipping.
