Tech Pro Plus rep arrived at 8:15am on Friday 11/18. The tech proceeded to remove the micro from the wall. I loaned him my 2 step ladder and when he loosened the micro he stepped up on my glass top range. He shattered the range cooking surface. No apology. Tech Pro Plus rep arrived at 8:15am on Friday 11/18. The tech proceeded to remove the micro from the wall. I loaned him my 2 step ladder and when he loosened the micro he stepped up on my glass top range. He shattered the range cooking surface. No apology. He proceeded to take the micro apart and check it for repair. He then said I would have to pay him $239.00 to fix it. I told him no that his company was liable for the damage he did and I would expect a replacement for the destroyed range and no repair charges for the micro. He started calling me crazy. Then he wanted me to pay $75.00 for svc call. I refused that and refused to sign his paperwork. Tech Pro Plus has refused me any customer service and they just turned the claim to their insurance co. We have been without any way to cook since Friday 11/18 and now we are into the Thanksgiving day weekend. I went out and purchased a new range and micro which cannot be delivered until Thursday 12/1/11. We have to eat out 8 more days before we can cook.
