Claimant says: "On Feb. 4th, 2011, I purchased a used 2009 Audi A4 from Phil Long Audi, Colorado Springs, CO. along with a 2 year Service Warranty for $2,440.00. I was NOT informed that this Service Contract was not able to be canceled at the the time of purchase. The Warranty person, at the time, is no longer with Phil Long Audi.
I just swapped the Audi A4 at a different car dealership and then contacted Phil Long AUDI about canceling the Service Warranty on the Audi A4 that I bought from them. The Service Warranty was valid until Feb. 2013, it has never been used and also has a value of approximately $950.00 (that's with their fee extracted). Phil Long's Warranty person, Bill, made no offer or attempt to refund me any money. I explained that I am on a Disability Retirement limited budget at this time and really need the refund. Still, no help from them.
I also mentioned the $4,000.00 profit they made on the 2007 Avalanche I traded in for their Audi A4. Still, no response from them. I was informed by Bill, that the decision to refund my money is up to the owner of the dealership, which indicates it is unnecessary for them to abide by the contract. Unfortunately, Bill said the owner was in Germany at the time I called. And they cannot afford to refund my $950.00?
I am requesting that the wealthy Phil Long AUDI dealership please refund the unused Warranty money that I desperately need. Thank you.*” ...Show less »
