Claimant says: "We bought a $5,000 king size mattress from Mattress Firm in Pearland, Tx on 7/18/09 with a life time warranty. The first year we had it, it was comfortable but then the next year we started noticing that the mattress was sagging but we never called the company to complain. We finally called the company where we bought it and they gave us the name of the company who serviced the mattress, which is above. On 1/9/12 they send us a package with instructions what to do. My husband followed the instructions, measured the mattress, and took pictures, etc and send them back. on 2/2/12 they send us a letter stating that if there was an unrecoverable indentation of over 1 2/2 and the mattress was free and clear of stains, it would qualify for a replacement. Unfortunately, our mattress based on the photographs we supplied showed measurements of less that 1 1/2. Based on all information received about our bedding, there was not anything that appeared structurally wrong with the sleep set; which is the reason that our claim was denied. We called them back and ask them to sent someone to redo it in case my husband didn't do it right. Than they sent us someone from the Houston area do redo the measurements, etc. On 3/16/12 they sent us another letter stating the same thing. We are having a lot of back problems and I have to sleep on the edge of the king size mattress because if I move towards my husband it sags really badly and when I make my bed you can see where it's not firm; there is the sag on both sides. We are still paying on the mattress through Wells Fargo and we wanted to stop paying on it which we still owe $1088, but if we do they will send us to the credit bureau and we really have good credit. Apparently the company doesn't care.*” ...Show less »
