Claimant says: "I attempted to purchase a car; the owner (Ron) told me I had to have a significant amount down before he could releasse the car in my posession. I have given him $2100.00 and concluded that the car was insufficent, and I could not afford no long term payments of $260.00 based on my income. He said because he held the car for 3 months, could have made a sale he did not feel reliable to refund me my money. After a conversation with him informing him that I was going to seek action against him with the DMV Inspectors; he called me and said he would cut me a check for 400.00.
