We were charged an extra $25.00 upon signing in at the registration desk when we arrived on December 20. 2015. We were reassured that it would be returned when we signed out the next morning, 12/21/2015, However, that is not the case. Our $25.00 was returned by a new invoice for the correct amount and the first was not applied to our credit card! So in one sense the amount was refunded. The hotel accepted the reservation without question or instruction as to how an employee rate worked. Prior to that day we had stayed at 2 other Holiday Inns on 10/13 & 10/14 without a problem. On Monday, 10/17, my wife & I, arriving at the hotel, were informed that our employee discount did not apply as we needed a discount card required at time of arrival.
