Claimant says: "To whom it may concern. My name is Nick Aston and I have been a member with 24 hour fitness for about seven years now and I have nothing but good things to say about your facility and staff at the gym in La Mirada, CA. However as I was working out today on the day of April 29 2012, and was treated very disrespectfully by another member and in the end I was the one who was made out to be the villian and asked to leave for the day. So as briefly as I can put it, I was working out on the smith machine and also doing a super set withe 40lb bar. As I was in the middle of my set when a lady came up to the smith machine and started to take the weights of the smith machine. So I then very politley said Excuse me miss but i'm still using this machine. Because she had her head phones in she didn't hear me so I then tapped her on the shoulder and again repeated Excuse me miss but i'm still using this machine. She looks at me and says No you're not, you're working right there. I then try to explain to her that I was doing a super set with the bar and smith machine ( like everyone else including your trainers do in the gym). So she then very rudely tells me Who do you think you are, this is not your personal gym. She then proceeds to the other side of the machine and starts to take the other weight off. So I grab the weight to stop her and then she once again very disrespectfully says What are you a psycho, why don't you go take some more steroids and get the hell out of here. So at this point I can't even believe this is happening and at the same time i'm looking up at the gentleman working out next to me who has been hearing everything that has going on, and he is looking at me like he can't believe this is happening. So I say to him Bro can you back me up here. So he then says to the lady Miss he was still working out there she then replies to him Shutt up and mind your own buisness. At this point I had no choice but to go get help from your staff. But in the end, I basicaly got punked for the machine I was working out on, got made out to be villian, and was asked to leave the gym for the day. Once again i'm writing this to make a complaint on your staff, I think everyone who works at this facility are all awesome people. I basically feel that no member has the right to treat another member like that and get away with it. I sincerely hope some action is taken to prevent this from ever happening again.
