Free filing gives you full use of the PeopleClaim system so you can turn your complaint into a well organized and professionally presented claim, delivered instantly to the other party by email. That may be all you need. But many users opt for the paid public posting option ($7.95). This lets them set a deadline for resolution, and gives the other party extra incentive to fix the problem and keep the complaint off the Internet. Other paid options add strength. You can copy your claim to regulators and media, or choose premium delivery options so your claim will also be received in hardcopy.
How does PeopleClaim's consumer alert system work?
It's easy. And free. If you'd like to get an email message when claims post for certain companies or locations, just use the handy signup form on the PeopleClaim site. Tell us which ZIP Codes or names you want alerts for, give us your email address, and you're done. You can change alert criteria, add an alert request, or opt out at any time.
How is PeopleClaim different from the BBB?
One of the big contrasts between the Better Business Bureau and PeopleClaim is that the BBB earns its money from membership fees paid by the companies you may be complaining about. PeopleClaim has no such conflict of interest. We charge reasonable fees for certain claim-filing services, and receive nothing from anyone you will file a claim against.
