The Dr avoided responsiblity until the two years (legal to sue in Texas) had passed. Now I am blind in that eye and all the specialists have determined that it was a result of poorly performed surgery.”

He said that a process was used on him that I had never heard of prior to his story, called flooding. He explained it was akin to brainwashing. I did understand THAT. I was horrified! That was something done to prisoners of war or human guinea pigs! He said that during that session, he was told to go home & live-out or (play-through) his fantasies of his step-daughter. He didn't have fantasies of her, to begin with, as far as I understand. He said when he did he ended up in a very bad situation with local law enforcement (Sheriff's Dept.) and ended up in the County Jail. Later, his step-daughter who was dating the son of a Circuit Court Judge and she disclosed to him what really happened., that between her mom & her grandma & her, they sat my husband up. She had lied. The son related it all to his dad & my spouse was released from jail after about 6 weeks. The whole thing had started as a way for the mom to get a new car from her mother & new clothes. I later called & asked about the jail time & the clerk couldn't find anything. That all happened in or about 84-85. The 1995 sentencing was based on the 85 issue that the Clerk of Court said she couldn't locate anything about. SO, he was sentenced as a repeat offender based on a non-existent prior. Aside from that (as I've mentioned) We were allowed to contract a house directly across the street from a fully functioning, operational Day Care called Melita Day. Our son went there & my spouse delivered him to his morning care & picked him up each time. IF he had a prior, why were we allowed to contract for deed right across from it? Does that make Sedalia LIABLE? Because our old house is less than the 1000 feet that is the law for offenders to be kept from such a place. We got our house through people who not only were realtors but who were also very high profile in other ways, including socially. I am wondering if this slipped through the cracks then why, when it was realized weren't we (possibly) refunded our money (if possible) so we could find some other house? The daycare continued on there for quite a while after we moved there. No problems ever arose from our being there. In the court files of 1995 that I got from the State Defender's office in 1997 after the case had closed, there was input from the above-named party, about that FLOODING technique she used. She had supplied it. Drawn beside the statement she made was a smiley face. I feel that was totally not nice and definitely not CUTE! My husband was put through a WORLD of aggravation & trouble due to that therapy. What I DIDN'T see in the files was an INFORMED CONSENT FORM. I wonder if there was one! He never mentioned one... I got a letter from Beneficial Finance, that they had sold my loan to Green Tree. who I tried to explain the situation and they don't care. The problem I have I haven't heard from Beneficial since 2004 until June 2014, at which time they inform me that they have sold my loan to Green Tree. If Beneficial, know in Bradenton, Fl. could find me then what happened from 2004 until 2014? I explained thbis to Green Tree without help, in addition they want $ 13,694.19, in pre charge off fee they want an addition to $14,229.83, for pricipal owed. I don't owe Green Tree any thing and I don't owe Benefical because once they left Salt Lake, I never heard anything. In Nov. 2010, I was getting notices of a hearing, that were to be sent to this attorney. I contacted the clerk, learned this Attorney never placed himself as Attorney fo record, and the court had my cousin as a pro-se litigant. I gave the information for this attorney, contacted him, and was given a lame excuse which didn't make any sense. learned in July 2011, the evaluation panel had ruled in favor of my cousin to eliminate the mortgage, and pay my cousin, this unethical Attorney never responded to the panels decision, which cause the opposing side to file for dismissal, and sanctions for duplicate work, and deposition summary. This attorney never signed an agreement with me, or my company, in which I paid from my business acct, he did not show up for a hearing that sanctions were wrongfully placed on my cousin for his negligence, I from my business, provided him all of the documentation including handwriting expert opinion that I had done, and gave him the case on a silver platter. Before learning that he was the one that dropped the ball on my cousin's home, I emailed him and told him I would pay to move forward, not knowing what had occurred with the evaluation's decision, and him not answering the decision. Attorney Kassum wanted me to pay him another $4-7k, to move forward with the case that he had already dropped the ball. After I told him I retrieved the documents that explained what had happened, and that I would not pay another dime, and that he would get an invoice from me with all of the work that I paid him to do, that I did ,and forwarded to him via, email, and I then was told, on the speaker phone in the witness of 2 paralegals, and an assistance, little did I know he held over 95% of shares with the bank that was being litigated against. I recently received a notice from attorney that he is trying to sue me for over $9k, indicating work he did,and I did not pay him. I want to counter sue for damages, malpractice, negligence, and conflict of interest, as well as money taken for services that were not provided, and breach of contract, and a full refund of the $3k that was paid to him from my business account, that he did not give me a contract to sign, he only had my cousin to sign a retainers agreement with him. Also, on the invoice he sent, has all the wrong dates. I would like to be compensated for $300k for misrepresentation, and legal malpractice.*” ...Show less »
