At the end of the filling, it showed a refund of $1,019 due to me (which I already knew from my calculations) and I submitted it. I never did receive a conformation from the IRS that they received my filling. But, a week or so after I had filled (1/30/12) I received my monthly Bank Statement. There was a deposit of $904.15 from a place indicated as SBTPG, on 2/7/12. I contacted my Bank and they informed me that those leters indicated Santa Barbra Tax Product Group. At that point, I called them and they could not give me much info. But they did say there were fees taken out totaling $114.85 (I think $5.00/$79.90/$29.95). And they said to go back to Turbo Tax people to resolve the problem. Now to make this leter much shorter than it could be, I will say this: I have made 8 phone calls to the Turbo Tax people and 5 calls to the SBTPG people (probably on phone about 10 hrs). I am beginning to feel like a yoyo, but have accomplished hardly anything. I did learn one thing, there may be an outfit called RT software (London, England) involved in all of this. At one point in my convesations with Turbo Tax people, they suggested I contact the IRS. I did that , but only found out that my refund went to another checking Account No. and Routing No. different than mine.*” ...Show less »
