Claimant says: "I had two loans with this company. Last year, I changed jobs which made it difficult to make payments in a timely manner. I made a lump sum payment in August before losing my job.I am now employed. However, my salary is less than what I was previously making. called Ms Kimbely Kitrell and asked if my payments could be lowered. She offered a deferrment for a month and that was it. They called my house everyday, and I repeated the same thing to them. I need a lower payment.
The larger loan, which is a realty loan was for $15,000. I have been paying on this loan for over five (5) years and the prinicipal amount has not changed. I paid the amount she quoted, which was $240.00 she later said she misquoted, that she had made an error and I was $40.00 short. I was taken to court for this $40.00 and a $4.00 difference in the payment for the month of May, and the payment that is due for June.
