I had an engineeering firm check out the slab because I thought it might be the cause, but it wasn't. Meritage replaced some of the tiles previously, but the tiles continue to crack throughout the home. There is a hollow sound under all of the tiles that break, but they claim that has nothing to do with it. It's not fair that I have a new home that is falling to pieces. There is a hole in the wall in the bathroom, the sheetrock just collapsed, the ceiling in the hall is peeling because the sheetrock tape is coming down. I have multiple holes in the wall that was patched before we moved in and now that is noticable. Last saturday, the front of the drawer from the sink area in the master bath fell off. I super glued it back. I've had to install cut off valves for the sprinkler system (this should have been done when the home was built) New sprinkler master system was installed earlier this summer, the one installedby the builder no longer worked, pipes in the kitchen have been replaced due to corrosion, new appliances have had to be installed. This is frustrating. I have a 30 yr mortgage and my home is fallling to pieces already in 5.*” ...Show less »
