Claimant says: "I was at the Lazy Parrot Grill on the evening of Friday January 27, 2012 with some friends. I was assaulted by a black male who was attempting to sell me cocaine. After the incident, I saw the same man pointing me out to another black male. At this time, I became very concerned for my safety. I asked the individual what he was doing and told him again to leave me alone. He laughed in my face, and when I asked him what was so funny, he told me that my dead son was funny. I also told her that he was in my face laughing and made an extremely inappropriate comment about my 16 yr. old son who is deceased. Then the bartender backed her up, and told me to leave as I was leaving! No one did anything to help me or make sure I was safe, and I was treated as if I were the criminal. To sum things up, I was a victim of a crime, and not only did not receive any help, I was treated in the poorest manner possible by staff.*” ...Show less »
