Claimant says: "August 12 about 5:35PM I went to Larry Miller with the thought of possibly trading up to a 2011 Sonata from the letter I received from Larry Miller Hyundai stating they were in need of 2008 Sonata's which are in high demand, and I have a 2008 Sonata. The letter offered good payout for your vehicle and other perks. When I arrived and stepped out of my car, Josh, a salesman, began talking about the great new cars they have and asked If I was interested. I told him if the price is right, I would definitely consider. We looked at cars and I was told ad price only pertained to 1 car they had and I said ok give me bottom line so I can decide if I want to buy vehicle or not. Josh took my car keys and went back outside to get my car vin # and he and another man walked around my car and kept looking up into the building where I was standing watching them. They came back inside and went into an office where someone else was on the computer inputting information. I then asked Josh how much longer and he said take a seat , then asked me what the payoff amount of my car was and I told him I'd rather not say I want to know what they would pay me for my car then I would decide. Josh went into office, I sat at a round table and began reading the newspaper. Several minutes later, Josh and man with last name Guerrero came to the table and sat down. Guerrero then grabbed my purse and threw it across the table to Josh and said he didnt need that then he grabbed newpaper I had folded and put on table and also threw paper to Josh and said he didnt need that crap either in a loud voice, I then told Josh to give me my purse which Josh handed back to me. Guerrero then asked me what the big secret deal was that I would'nt give him my payoff balance due for my Sonata in a loud threatening voice and I told him I didn't want to incur additional debt and want to keep it down that's why I want to know what their buy offer is, he then got in my face and said DO YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR OR DON'T YOU? I then looked at him and said No, he then said We're through GOODBYE and he got up and opened door to let me out. I walked out to my car and left, I drove away from dealership then stopped to look around my car and found that the passenger side door below the door handle had been keyed (scratched) approximately 12-16 inches. I didn't drive back to dealership because of the threatening and intimidating environment. I waited until this morning and called dealership to speak to the General Manager Alex Peters, to inform him what I'd experienced the day before, however, no one has returned my call.
I want my car door scratch cleaned up, restored to how it was (no scratch and same lustre)
and Josh and the other guy reported to proper authorities for their unethical behavior and scratching my car ??? why??? The attitude and threatening manner of Mr Guerrero was unbelievable. They all were at their worst and I want to say that I will never go to that dealership again. I have told many people and more if possible about my experience there.
I plan to contact Hyundai corporate office too.
Do I file charges against these people and their general manager with you? Or do I contact local authority of the vandalism to my vehicle by them?*” ...Show less »
