Claimant says: "On April 28th 2010 I had an oil change done on my Chevy Lumina. The first week of May my car started knocking. I had it towed to my house where it sat for several months until my brothers could take it to Indianapolis where they would look at it. My brother finally got to work on my car this past week end. He drained the pan and found transmission fluid instead of oil.
I have had oil changes done on different vehicles at this same location for a few years. What really upsets me is back around 2002 or 2003 I had a Honda Accord which I had taken there for an oil change and the next day the engine blew up in it. I suspected it had something to do with the work done at this location. So now that I have a second vehicle having problems right after I had an oil change I am very upset.
Also, in April 19, 2011 I had a oil change done on another vehicle, a Buick. My brother was checking the vehicle a few days later and he suspected they had not done the oil change as the oil was milky and he had noticed it this way before I took it in for the oil change. When he told me this I recalled that I had no sooner got in the waiting area to sit down when they told me my vehicle was ready. I thought this was rather odd.
With having two vehicles that have blew up after service received at this location I am very concerned of others having the same results as I have had.
I think there should be some kind of compensation for all I have gone through in having to find another vehicle due to the trouble, incontinence, and expense of having to look for other transportation due to their lack of negligence of professional care of my vehicles*” ...Show less »
