Claimant says: "I applied for a FHA Home Affordable Modification Loan some years ago and on Dec.16/2011 was approved and completed.
About Dec.28th /2011 I received a notice from one of my credit card co. indicating that my credit file had a delinquent account and I was now being denied further credit and my card account was now closed due to this delinquent account.
On reveiwing my credit file I discovered that Guild Mortgage Co. had reported my mortgage account as delinquent for three no-payment months (past 30, past 60, past 90 days). During this past three months, Guild was instructing me not to send any money to my normal mortgage account and they also returned my last mortgage check to me. Guild representatives started me on a trial four month period and said I was to send them a modified amount of money and said it was to be in certified checks or money-orders only and on time. Guild also told me I was not to send any money to my mortgage account until the modification had been completed with the new money amounts.
I have recently spoke to a Guild rep. to attemp to straighten this untrue statement entered in my once clean credit file but Guild Rep. said they will not remove their statement from my credit file.
Is this part of the new Incentive to Kick-Start the Economy?
Incedently, prior the this, my credit file has no DEROGATORY ENTRIES.
I HAVE ALLWAYS MADE ALL PAYMENTS AND ON TIME.*” ...Show less »
