Claimant says: "We had filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy in 2006. We were told to pay our payments directly to Green Tree. After 6 months Green Tree contacted our attorneys and told them that we had not made one single payment to them. My attorney called me. I provided the attorney with proof of payment. After further investigation I was told I was $467.00 ahead and that I could miss one payment when or if I needed to. I missed one payment on August of 2007. After 6 months Green Tree contacted our attorneys and told them that we had not made one single payment to them. My attorney called me. I provided the attorney with proof of payment. My attorney requested that I provide proof of the last 6 months of payment. Which I did. Then Green Then again in May they called me and asked me what I planned on doing with the trailer. I asked them what did they mean. They claimed again that I was one month behind. My payments are sent in every month. They sent me papers of my payments. It shows that every month payments have been made except back in 2007 when agreed that I could miss one month. There was no complaint about any missed payment until 2010. I provided the proof the my attorneys requested back 6 months from February. Green Tree has called me every month since May asking me what my plans are with the trailer. I talked to one person this month and told them I was waiting for my back pay and I just started work and my payment would be a few day late. It was sent out on the 12th of August and they recieved it on the 16th. They have been calling me constantly now for the past 9 days. I will not answer the phone anymore because each time they call it is a different person. One time I will get a woman and explain it to her the next day it will be a man and I will have to explain it all over again. I'm tired of the harrassment. I have shown proof of payments when they contacted my attorney. They will leave me alone for awhile then call again now that they were granted a stay or what ever they call it. This way they don't have to go through my attorney and they can just contact me. They weren't getting anywhere with my attorney so that is why they requested the stay, or what ever they call it. I have all they papers for each time they requested proof of payment along with the attorney. I want this harrasment stopped. I contacted a Consumer lawyer and he looked over my papers and said that he thought I had a case but he was not at this time able to take it.
