Claimant says: "Mr. Mario Rodriguez claims to be a professional contractor & although he is licensed & is registered his work in my opinion is not of quality. A contract was written & an addendum to the contract was written for the change that was added to the project yet Mr. Rodriguez did not hold to his end of the agreements & walked out on the job in which he also took a cabinet, mirror, & toilet that was suppose to be installed in my home. Mr. Rodriguez was paid more than half at the start of the job & given all of the funds for the additional work & was paid the half way amount for the project. There was only one installment left that was due to him. The big problem with Mr. Rodriguez was that he does not show for work on time, in which each day we discussed the time of his arrival & only one time out of the 14 days he worked & that was only because I had to speak to him on the first day about his lateness to work. The major problem was he is not a good painter, he did not sand the walls completely only spot sanded & then spot painted-sloppy, he did not lay title correctly - all of the tile was not centered in the bathtub area, pattern of the tile not followed, & did sloppy caulk work.*” ...Show less »
