Claimant says: "On March, 21, 2011, I got EDS air conditioning off of FPL list and they sold me and installed an air conditioning that was oversized for my home. They sold me a 5 ton for $6,945, they did not call an electrician nor did they change the breaker as they were supposed to do. They went ahead and installed the 5 ton airconditioning unit, as a result during the installment they stepped on a pipe and caused it to broke in the ceiling which flooded one bedroom and the garage, washer, dryer and gas heater, which they repaired.”

Claimant says: "On March, 21, 2011, I got EDS air conditioning off of FPL list and they sold me and installed an air conditioning that was oversized for my home. They sold me a 5 ton for $6,945, they did not call an electrician nor did they change the breaker as they were supposed to do. They went ahead and installed the 5 ton airconditioning unit, as a result during the installment they stepped on a pipe and caused it to broke in the ceiling which flooded one bedroom and the garage, washer, dryer and gas heater, which they repaired. I called Palm Beach County zoning and reported the incident, and they sent an inspector to the house and he reported that EDS air conditioning was at fault, and further the 5 ton unit was too big for the area and for a 3.5 ton breaker, which caused the unit to short circuit. I believe the unit might still be short circuting because the same clicking sound can still be heard. Eds said that sound was normal and they refuse to at least check it unless I pay more money. EDS air condition then replaced the 5 ton air conditioning unit with a 4 ton unit on June 13, 2011, three months after the 5 ton was short circuiting and wanted me to pay for new air conditioning ducts which FPL told me the ducts were fine after a duct test. The 5 ton unit cost $6,945, and they said the 4 ton cost the same, I feel that this is not true and they owe me some money back. I never signed any agreement for the 4 ton unit with EDS air conditioning and instead of refunding money back they used up the extra money for warranties, labour and parts without my consent. The aircondition is still not satisfactorily working because it keeps clicking in and out, and EDS told me in order for them to check it, I would have to pay them more money. I am not sure why the unit keeps clicking, it could be an electrical shortage, but they wont come unless I pay them more money.*” ...Show less »
