Claimant says: "April of 2010 was quoted an estimate of $3500 for new roofing (supposed to include any plywood required) plus $600 to blow in some insulation over the bathroom area (downstairs). A other small item was done for the carport which cost another $300. I ended up paying a total of $5000. Shortly thereafter a crack appeared in one of my upstairs bedroom ceiling. A leak developed and discolored the wallboard. The firm was called and the repair made. I spray painted the ceiling discoloration with white Kilz stain blocker. I noticed that the crack continued to increase in both length and width.
On Wednesday 2/25/12 we had a heavy rain and the roof leaked soaking the the crack and dripping onto the rug. Thursday morning I called the firm asking for someone to come out and fix the leak. It rained again Thursday night but I had placed a bucket under the leak. Friday I called again and was told someone would be out that day. Saturday I called again and was told they would be here in the AM. About 10 AM they showed up. I was told that a limb had punched a hole through the shingle and that it was not a under warranty. There was no evidence of a limb anywhere on my property that could have caused this damage. The cost was $250 for about 30 minutes worth of labor. I told the repairman about the crack in the ceiling. I was under the impression that I had a 5 year warranty. I never received a bill for the original work as the owner appeared just as the workers were finishing up practically demanding payment. He was in my opinion, rude. I was not furnished with a receipt. For the work done on 2/25/12, again, I was not presented with a bill nor a receipt. Needless to say, if this repair fails, I'm not real prone to call them again, but this repair should be covered on a warranty.
I certainly wouldn't recommend this outfit to anyone.*” ...Show less »
